1. Booking and eligibility

Renters must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract. You must provide accurate booking and contact details and be authorised to accept these terms if booking for an organisation.

Submitting an enquiry does not reserve equipment or confirm a booking. A booking is confirmed only when RBK confirms availability and you accept the written booking summary, including the equipment, accessories, rental period, collection arrangements, price and payment conditions. Any additional booking conditions must be disclosed and accepted before payment.

2. Rental period, payment and returns

One rental day is 24 hours from the agreed collection time. Pickup and return are by appointment at the location stated in your booking confirmation. Equipment must be returned with all listed accessories by the agreed deadline.

Pay the amount agreed in your booking confirmation by the stated deadline. Request any extension before the return deadline; extensions depend on availability and RBK's written approval. Contact RBK immediately if you expect a delay. Paying a late-return charge does not automatically approve an extension.

Late-return charges

The first 30 minutes after the agreed return deadline are a grace period with no late-return charge. After that, each started hour is charged at one twenty-fourth (1/24) of the agreed 24-hour rental rate for the overdue equipment. The grace period is deducted before rounding the remaining delay up to whole hours. Each block of 24 billable hours is capped at one agreed daily rate; additional hours use the same hourly calculation. Round only the final charge to the nearest rupee.

For example, at an agreed FX3 rate of ₹3,000 per 24 hours, the hourly charge is ₹125. If return is due at 8 AM, returning by 8:30 AM has no charge; returning at 8:45 AM costs ₹125 extra; returning at 10 AM costs ₹250 extra. These charges are additional to the agreed rental price and apply only to equipment still overdue.

Late-return charges are payable on return, with an itemised calculation provided by RBK. Approved extensions are charged at the separately agreed extension price, without adding a late-return charge for the same period. No late-return charge applies to a delay caused by RBK being unavailable at the agreed return appointment. Charges remain subject to applicable law; RBK will not recover twice for the same period of use or loss.

3. Collection and equipment condition

RBK and the renter will check the equipment and accessories at collection and record serial numbers, existing marks or faults, and condition, using a checklist and photographs where appropriate. RBK will disclose known faults. Tell RBK promptly about any missing accessory or operating problem discovered after collection.

4. Equipment care and permitted use

Use equipment lawfully, follow manufacturer instructions and take reasonable care of it. Protect it against impact, theft, moisture, sand, excessive heat and other avoidable hazards. Do not leave it unattended in an unsecured place.

Do not sell, pledge, sub-rent, lend or transfer the equipment to another person without RBK's written permission. Do not open, modify or attempt repairs without approval. Equipment remains the property of its owner throughout the rental.

5. Damage, loss or theft

Stop using equipment if a fault or damage occurs and notify RBK promptly. Report theft to the police as soon as reasonably possible and share the complaint acknowledgement; cooperate with reasonable recovery enquiries.

You are responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for reasonable, documented losses caused by your negligence, misuse, unauthorised use or breach of the agreed rental conditions. Ordinary wear, documented existing damage and faults not caused by you are excluded.

RBK will provide condition evidence and a repair assessment or replacement valuation before seeking payment. Any replacement claim must account for the equipment's age, condition, recoveries and salvage value. RBK will not recover twice for the same loss. You may raise a dispute about the assessment.

6. Equipment faults and unavailable rentals

If equipment develops a fault that you did not cause, contact RBK promptly. RBK will discuss a suitable replacement, subject to your agreement and availability, or an appropriate refund for the affected rental service. These terms do not exclude RBK's responsibility for its own negligence or override your statutory rights.

7. Cancellation and rescheduling

Request cancellations or date changes promptly using the contact details above. Changes depend on availability. Any cancellation fee, refund condition or payment-retention rule must be stated in the booking summary and accepted before payment. These terms do not impose an automatic non-refundable payment or cancellation penalty.

If RBK cannot fulfil the booking, you may accept an alternative or receive a refund of amounts paid for the rental service RBK cannot provide.

8. Return inspection and recordings

RBK will check returned equipment and accessories and record any differences from the collection checklist. Any later-discovered issue will be raised promptly with supporting evidence. You are responsible for backing up your recordings and removing personal files before returning storage media. Tell RBK before collection if you need help with safe file removal.

9. Agreement records and disputes

These terms and the accepted booking summary form the rental agreement. Changes to a confirmed booking require both parties' written agreement. Later website changes will not retrospectively change an existing booking.

Acceptance through the website is included in the WhatsApp enquiry you choose to send to RBK. RBK will share the final booking summary for your acceptance before confirmation and retain the accepted terms version with that booking.

Contact RBK first to discuss any concern. Indian law applies. Disputes may be brought before courts or consumer forums with lawful jurisdiction; no statutory consumer right or remedy is waived.
